Franz Liszt might be best known for his virtuosic works for piano but, besides those, he composed some of the greatest miniatures of the piano repertoire. His Consolations S.172 showcase his mastery of the small form. In this video, I perform the fifth and penultimate Consolation of the collection after a short introduction (in greek; subtitles in english).
